Taylor’s Peach Cobbler

1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 stick butter
3/4-1 cup milk
1 large can of peaches
1 tsp. cinnamon (opt.)
3 Tbsp. sugar (opt.)

Melt butter in a saucepan and stick in a 2 quart baking dish. In mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add milk to the dry ingredients and stir until blended. Arrange peaches (or if you’re like me you forget the arranging and just dump ‘em in) and juice in melted butter. Drizzle batter back and forth over the fruit. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
