German Red Cabbage

1 small red cabbage, sliced
1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 t. salt
1 t. sugar
1 t. vinegar

In a saucepan, bring all the ingredients to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Serve.
