Peanut Butter Date-Nut Chewies
2/3 c. natural peanut butter
1/2 c. quick oats
1 t. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. slivered almonds
2 c. dates, *softened and chopped
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cold water
Mix all ingredients together and form into balls. Roll in coconut and freeze. Take out of freezer 5 minutes just before serving.
*Note: To soften dates, just place in water and heat over the stove for about 5 minutes.
