You can feel good about serving your family this healthy and delicious dessert. Another plus is it’s ease of preparation. Make this when you have some prepared granola around. Just thicken the fruit on the stovetop, add the granola and pop it in the oven. Oh, and it’s non-dairy too!
1 large can sliced peaches
1 large can sliced pears
Reserved liquid from fruit
2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. sugar (or more depending on desired sweetness)
Granola of choice
In a saucepan, stir reserved liquid, cornstarch, and sugar until thickened. Stir in fruit. In sprayed casserole, pour in
fruit mixture and top with granola. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 20-30 minutes.
This is very easy if you’ve got granola around. Also tastes great for breakfast warmed up, with a little soy milk
drizzled over the top.
